Conch Shell Stamp
Rubber Stamp PlantationA Hawaiian conch shell, pu, is a large seashell played much like a trumpet. Depending on the blowing style the sound emitted can travel a couple of miles. Historically, the sound of the pu would sometimes accompany chants or announce the beginning of a ceremony. Today, the sound of the pu can often be heard at the start of special events, such as hula festivals and luaus, and to honor royalty or famous people.
This natural rubber stamp is mounted on a sustainable maple wood handle.
