Taro / Kalo Border Stamp
Rubber Stamp PlantationCreate every day with this Taro Leaf Border Rubber Stamp. In Hawaiʻi, and throughout Polynesia, kalo is more than a plant—it is a symbol of abundance, ancestry, and connection to the land. Every part of the Kalo plant is used and is an fundamental ingredient in Hawai'ian and Polynesian cuisine. Pounded into poi, wrapped and steamed in lau lau, cooked (similar to spinach) in Squid Luau, cubed and made into poke and "Potato" salad, are some of my favorites. I even use kalo to make my not so traditional latkes, for Chanukah!
This stamp is handmade in Hawaiʻi using high-quality natural rubber for crisp, detailed impressions, and mounted on sustainably sourced maple wood for a comfortable, long-lasting grip. Perfect for paper crafts, journaling, stationery, packaging, and creative projects that celebrate nature and culture.
Thoughtfully made and beautifully designed, this kalo leaf border stamp adds an elegant, organic frame to any design while honoring the spirit of Hawaiʻi. You can stamp in clay, on paper, wood, metal, or any other clean surface.
